Welcome to the Junior Kindergarten Web Page!

We are having a great year!  Our room is the Andean Bear homeroom.  Andean Bears, also called Spectacled Bears live in South America.  Did you know that Paddington Bear was an Andean Bear?  There are so many fun things to learn this year.  This year we will be working on our reading, our writing and our arithmetic.  Science and Social Studies will provide lots of fun activities to do.  Each week we will go to Art, PE, Music, and Library.  We get to learn French first semester and Spanish second semester.  So hello, bonjour and hola friends!  Here are some photos of our class throughout the year!

Here is what we are doing in school:
You can now click on the list on the top left to find out what is happening in each area of our curriculum.  The first thing that we do every morning is sing our "Hello Everybody" song and have our morning meeting.  In our class, everyone has a job, which is posted on the front bulletin board, such as mathematician, meteorologist, messenger, green thumb expert and line leader.  In addition to our academic schedule, we have free choice and as you can see everyone enjoys doing different things.
